Based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Northwest Airlines is one of the world’s largest airlines and America’s oldest carrier. Unfortunately, the airline’s primary maintenance facility featured storage equipment and workbenches that were obsolete. And the hangar avionics shop had been relocated and reduced in size by 36%.

Northwest’s search for a solution landed at Modern Bin, a Lista distributor in Minneapolis.
Lista equipment, installed in both the avionics shops and 757, 747 and DC 9 aircraft hangars, included workbenches, standard width stacked cabinets, and computer cabinets.

"Everyone who uses the Lista system loves it," declares Harris. "From the stores clerks who receive items to the issue clerks who fill requests, they all know exactly how many parts are in a particular drawer and exactly where the parts are located. The system has made everyone's life easier." | | |
