Arlink 8000 workstation components: standard features and options

Using Arlink 8000 workstation accessories, you can custom-build a stationary or mobile workstation solution that meets all the requirements of your specific application. Start by selecting the basic structural elements you need, then add outriggers, choose worksurfaces, and add numerous other accessories for the perfect workspace.

Accessories attach via the Arlink 8000's unique Definite Positioning System. An innovative assembly concept which features 1 macro and 2 micro slots on each side of a high strength column, this approach greatly reduces the time and effort needed to attach components to the system, while making highly efficient use of space. This unique column design maximizes accessory density and placement options. Since columns are double sided, a single column may be used by two back-to-back workstations, as well as adjacent modules.

Worksurfaces

Shelves

• Open wire shelves: welded steel wire shelf has chrome plated finish, and adjusts horizontally at a 0, 15 or 30 angle
• Steel shelves: offers 300 lb. weight capacity, and adjusts horizontally at a 0, 15 or 30 angle
• Variable angle shelves: center mounting shelf is 18" or 24" deep, adjusts from 0 to 25 angle and holds up to 150 lbs. Can be mounted forward or set-back between the uprights for maximum flexibility
• Slopping document shelves: 15 vertical steel shelf is 12" high and has a 2" lip to hold books, manuals, drawings, etc.

Power and lighting

• Horizontal power beams: single or double-sided beams available with or without separate on/off switch allowing remainder of the beam to be left powered
• Vertical power strips: come in 15 amp or 20 amp and GFCI with lighted on/off switch, 6' cord with grounded plug and circuit breaker
• Fluorescent light fixtures: accommodate (2) 32 watt fluorescent T8 bulbs; 2/4 lamp fixture also available

Hanging drawers

• Hanging drawer assemblies: mounted under the worksurface, steel drawers can slide to any horizontal position; 100 lb. capacity
• Pelican drawer: mounts under the worksurface to provide secure storage for legal hanging files or personal effects

Overhead cabinets and panels

• Overhead cabinets: steel cabinet with retractable locking door allows storage of larger, bulky items above work area
• Pegboard panels: sturdy painted steel pegboard panel is ideal for hanging tools
• Louvered panels: sturdy painted steel louvered panel is ideal for hanging plastic boxes
• Modesty panels: steel or fabric-covered panel acts as a privacy screen and can be used as fill-in panel or magnet panel to hold instructions or drawings
• Reversible markerboard/tackboard: two-sided board features magnetic markerboard on one side and tackboard on the other

Storage and tool accessories

• Light-duty parts bin rails: supports industry-standard plastic parts bins
• Heavy-duty parts bin rails: mounted parallel to the worksurface or at a 15 angle, easily adjustable for ergonomic access
• Utility bins: hold tools, bottles, wipes, reeled solder dispensers and more
• Lockable tool boxes: comes with a lock and key to securely store tools and other valuables
• Tool and accessory holders: hang on parts bin rails or utility bin rails to add convenience to the workplace
• Tool glide track and trolley assemblies: keeps electric and pneumatic tools properly positioned above work area
• Turbo tray: molded of durable plastic with 24 compartments, it holds small parts and rotates 360

Pivoting arm accessories

• Monitor shelf with keyboard holder: retractable wire keyboard holder supports computer monitor and holds up to 75 lbs.
• Optional mouse tray: attaches to monitor shelf with keyboard holder to hold a computer mouse and mouse pad
• Flat panel monitor arm: attaches flat panel monitor to upright equipment shelf: holds a variety of customer-supplied equipment or tools and supports up to 75 lbs.
• Accessory shelf: allows easy access to small tools, parts, etc. and holds up to 75 lbs.
• Document holder: displays papers, plans, etc., for easy reading and includes lip for pencils, pens etc. Available in 2 widths
• Bin container: holds 3 rows of plastic bins for easy access to parts and components

ESD accessories

• Worksurface grounding kit: supplied with all static-dissipative worksurfaces, its 8' cord includes one megohm resistor
• Dual ESD wrist strap receptacle: mounts under the worksurface, simultaneously accepts operators and supervisor's wrist strap
• Common point ground block: provides two connection sides direct to ground and one megohm resistor in series to ground
• ESD mat kits: include either a durable two-layer rubber mat or three-layer vinyl mat with wrist strap and dual receptacle

Miscellaneous accessories

• Swivel footrests: adjustable to suit worker at individual workstation
• Freestanding footrests: adjustable from 0 to 25 angle, provides ergonomic support for user's feet
• CPU holders: allows CPU to be mounted under the worksurface and can slide to any horizontal position; available in fixed and pullout styles
• Pullout keyboard holders: allows computer keyboard to be stored under the worksurface when not in use; also available in swivel model
